19 2 26 Rockport UMC has a large variety of Trails. A Trail is a small group of people who get together on a regular basis to grow in Christ while doing an activity. A Trail can be: + a physical activity (like bike-riding), + a craft (like quilting), + or an event revolving around food (from "breakfast for dinner" to ice cream)! All children are welcome at Rockport 82! Jesus himself said, "Let the little children come to me." (Luke 18:16) Our younger children are invited to attend Creation Station, a time of teaching designed for their age group. They will be dismissed part way through worship. 5th grade and up can stick around for the service. We believe that developing faith at a young age is a valuable gift. That is why, as a faith community, we pray over the children during the service, right before they leave for Creation Station.

Rockport 82 is a NEW community of faith that has sprung up from the Rockport United Methodist Church. We seek to provide a welcoming community for all people to Come and Worship. And by the grace of God Inspire others to join us in seeking the heart ofour Lord and Savior! Jesus Christ is the ultimate example for us. He lived a life of humility here on earth and just before He ascended into heaven He gave all of us a mission, a purpose, a challenge … Jesus said “Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19a) It is our desire to see people accept this challenge and to transform the world for the sake of Christ!
